It's widely believed that T-Bone Walker was the father of Rock, he didn't invent it but he was the main inspiration behind those that did, including BB King, Chuck Berry and Ike Turner. Muddy Waters introduced the electric guitar to blues music but T-Bone Walker pushed the boundaries of the instrument and incorporated new techniques and style of playing and although he was a Blues man there were definite signs of divergence in his music that would later develop to become Rock music.
